Student Laptop Program 2024

In accordance with the Department for Education’s Digital Strategy, Craigmore High School will be providing all year 7 and year 10 students with a digital device.

The 2024 devices will be:

• HP ProBook 445 G10 for Year 7
• HP ProBook 435 x360 G10 for Year 10

These laptops will be connected to the school’s networked resources and will be maintained by the school. Students may use these laptops at school and at home. This will provide email and access to online school resources, up-to-date software, secure data and file storage and printing services.

Each laptop has a three year onsite professional warranty as well as Accidental Damage Protection.

We will require a deposit (amount yet to be determined) for each device refundable on return in good condition at the end of the three years or upon leaving the school. BYOD devices will no longer be supported by the IT Helpdesk for Year 7s or 10s. Support for BYOD devices for other year levels will be maintained as we roll this program out to progressively cover all students.

Laptops will be distributed during Fees Week in January 2024. Further details will be provided as soon as they are available.
