Care Program

CARE (Culture, Attendance, Relationships and Empowerment) is Craigmore High Schools whole school Pastoral Care Programme. The CARE programme will have three differentiated models throughout the school.

The year 8s work with a programme focussing on Self-Development, Work Exploration and Career Management. The year 8s will work with their CARE teachers around our School Values and be provided with opportunities to show the values of Respect, Success and Creativity.

Years 9 – 11 have Vertical Specialist programmes providing students in these groups with voice around co-design within the lesson and the choice of programme allows students to have a strong peer and teacher relationship to improve wellbeing. Some of the vertical programmes provided during this time are Art, AFL, Career Options, Cosplay, Disney, Fashion and Jewellery design, E-Sports and Soccer Academy.

The year 12s use the CARE programme time as a study group. This allows year 12 students to seek assistance from the year 12 mentors and teachers to further their studies and increase their chance for success during the year.
