Excursion Information for Staff
Student excursions are supported wherever possible to enhance student experiences. Staff should discuss planned excursions with Learning Area Leaders before submission
Excursion Applications
Staff must submit an ED169 form and a risk assessment for approval to the Assistant Principal – Strategic Operations. The number of excursions approved and staff availability are considered when determining approvals. Currently, the parameters allow for a total of 4 excursions per week, with a maximum of 2 per day.
Staff can access the excursions calendar to identify possible dates for excursions. Confirmation of the request outcome will be provided via email. Finalising planning and submitting planned absence forms should only occur after receiving approval confirmation via email.
