Year 6 to 7 Transition

The move from primary school to high school is a significant milestone in your child’s education.

While it can bring some nerves, it’s also an exciting opportunity for growth, new experiences, and building confidence.

At Craigmore High School, our experienced and supportive transition team works closely with families and primary schools to ensure every student has a smooth and positive transition into Year 7.

Family Tours

Prospective students and their families can meet key staff, explore our facilities, and gain a better understanding of the opportunities available at Craigmore High School. Stay updated on upcoming tour dates by following our Facebook page.

Specialised Visits

Transition visits for students with disabilities, led by our Inclusive Education team, and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, guided by our Aboriginal Education Team. These visits help ease concerns and ensure students feel comfortable and confident.

Flexible Transition Sessions
