The BASE
At Craigmore High School, The BASE, formerly known as The Hub, is the central intervention space where students can access a range of specialist support to overcome barriers to learning and engagement. It houses paraprofessionals from various intervention and priority cohort teams, including Wellbeing, Inclusive Education, and EALD. The BASE is also connected to the Resource Centre and Year 12 Study Space.

Engagement and Wellbeing
The Engagement and Wellbeing structures at Craigmore High School play a central role in creating a safe and inclusive environment. The practices address the interconnection between wellbeing and student engagement, recognising that one is not exclusive of the other. Our team focuses on building positive relationships, employing a Trauma-Informed approach, and embedding Restorative Practices to help students repair any damaged relationships.
Wellbeing Support
The BASE is a centralised location for students to access the appropriate information, supports, and services, whether through our onsite services, such as the Therapeutic Team, or via referral to external agencies. The Wellbeing Team supports students with their wellbeing through one-to-one sessions and group activities focused on emotional regulation and building resilience.
